On 27th July 2023 will inaugurate Gujarat's first greenfield airport - Hirasar Greenfield Airport. For this, preparations have already begun by the Rajkot district administration and the airport authority. On 7 October 2017, the Prime Minister himself had laid the foundation stone for the construction of an international airport in Hirasar village near Chotila.
